Faye graduated from Windsor Secondary School in 1966 and then
took a 2 month
Key Punching Program. Joined IBM as a Key Punch Operator, later as Tape
Librarian and then Receptionist/Secretary. She retired from
outside work in
1977 and her full time job involved around Ryan's and Kelly's
upbringing and
activities.
She has been involved with North Shore Needle Arts since its
inception in
1986, and taken most positions on the executive. NSNA held a three day
display show (Mar 29-31/01) were over 700 individual pieces of needle
art were
displayed. In Kelowna, she is now active in Quilting group, Canasta and
Bridge. and sometimes a bit of golfing..
Faye is busy twice a week looking after grandson Carson.
